The chief research officer at Microsoft, Craig Mundie, to take his retirement in 2014

Craig Mundie, the chief research and strategy officer at Microsoft said that he’ll retire in 2014. Eric Rudder, who’s currently the chief technical at the company, will take Mundie’s duties including overseeing Microsoft Research. Mundie worked with Bill Gates to develop the strategies of the company related to business, and policy issues, and then took his current position after the departure of Bill Gates in 2006.
