A 26 year old hacker named Andrew ‘Weev’ Auernheimer has been found guilty of accessing a computer without authorization He has been convicted of violating AT&T security when emails of 12000 ipad owners were leaked in 2010. He risks to face up to 5 years of prison, and the final sentence will take place next February. The hacking group said that they wanted to alert AT&T Company about security problems, and there’s no evidence that they used data for criminal purposes
